Our house is located in Breitbrunn between meadows and the northern shore of the Chiemsee – the “Bavarian Sea”. Treat yourself to an untroubled time in natural calmness. You will stay just a short walk off the public bathing beach “Stadl” and off the “Kailbachbucht”, an idyllic bay with a beautiful view of local mountain “Kampenwand” and likewise a great place for bathing in summer. Take a boat anytime of the year to the island “Herrenchiemsee” with mad king Ludwigs‘ famous castle and or to the smaller island “Frauenchiemsee” with its old monastery and original Bavarian cuisine. Explore the vicinity with monestery Seeon, the alpine village of Aschau and the Chiemgau Alps south of the lake. Each season of the year offer diverse opportunities, e.g. to hike in summer, to do water sports and to go skiing.

Enjoy our family-owned young restaurant PURA in the town centre, which is renowned in the region for its vegetarian and vegan cuisine and for being an occasional venue for cabaret and live music. If you also like selfcatering, you get many fresh and regional organic food in our wholefood shop BIOINSEL. As our guest, you receive a 5% discount both at the restaurant and at the shop.
